The Officer of the Year Award for 2007 is granted for outstanding achievement by an Officer that brings credit to the Department and which involves performance well above and beyond that which is required by an Officer's basic assignment. The criteria includes, but is not limited to, attendance, productivity, letter(s) of merit, organizational commitment, sustained community involvement, judgment, decisiveness, sensitivity and leadership. This year's 2007 Officer of the Year Award is presented to Officer Mike Glennon and I must Say....
Bullshit! This guy is as crooked as grandma's back. I know first hand; He smashed my face into the ground as I lay handcuffed outside of my store in Eau Claire, WI on Fathers day 2006. Yes I was already handcuffed on the ground co-operating fully and this asshole decides to tell me to shut the F*** UP and smacks my head into the ground. Yep you bet your butt I filed a complaint with his superior officers, but for two days the Eau Claire police Department desk Sgt. refused to allow me or the other victims of Mr. Officer of the years abuse to file a complaint. Two days later when they did allow us to file a formal complaint (MMmmm thought it was my right in the U.S.) the whole process was nothing short of harassment and the cover up the Eau Claire police brass participated in deserves a grammy award! Today I see in the Eau Claire Leader telegram that Officer Glennon is suing some 18 year old who he claims caused him injury as he was making an arrest...Sure would like to hear the kids side of the story...think I will get in contact and see if the cop of the year over arrested him as well. Wonder if all of Wiscon-sins government officials are this crooked?
Hey Mr Wisconsin Attorney General have you read what the citizens on Eau Claire Police Watch Blog are saying? I filed my complaint with the FBI field office over a year ago and they have never followed up. If they had gone and gotten that police report like I asked them to then they would agree the only award Officer Mike Glennon and his superiors deserve is a sentence of 5 to 10 or maybe more.
Hey Mr. Wisconsin Governor When is someone gonna put an end to the Eau Claire Police Gestapo Tactics. Remember when I wrote you and the Attorney General about the robbery at my store in Eau Claire that State Farm claimed they could not pay a claim on because the Eau Claire Police had raised Red Flags that were stopping them from processing the claim...Does anyone else think its odd this all came about right after the Fathers day incident I described above after Mr. officer of the year and his superior officers told me and several other witnesses "We are going to shut down your store" So who do you tell when the police abuse you... Someone needs to investigate these pillars of society who think they are unaccountable to anyone.
If you have an Eau Claire police nightmare to share head over to the police watch blog and help us make "justice for all" a meaningful phrase in Eau Claire County Wisconsin!

*Legal Help Wanted* In Wisconsin
Must be willing to fight corrupt insurance Goliaths like State Farm! Must be willing to work for free as I have only debt and records left.
Details of the case: Married Female, Visually Disabled, Small Business Owner, opened own business (retail store). 1 1/2 years the store did well and grew. Sometime Mothers Day Weekend 2007 my store was burglarized. Roughly 60% of merchandise on hand was stolen along with money and computer equipment stolen and damaged.
To Date: Police in WI have no suspects. State Farm did a lengthy investigation for 10 months and refused to pay for anything for this period. They refused to replace my special business equipment for the visually impaired that was damaged in the burglary, but yet forced me to provide documents to their attorney, special investigator, and forensic records experts, multiple times. In short I was treated as a common criminal, and forced to participate in their "investigation" and not as a paying customer. In the mean time with no replacement stock back in my 500 sq ft store to sell and many monthly bills accruing, I had to close my store to save my credit and hopefully business. After months of tape recording rude investigators, making complaints to the WI State Insurance Commissioner, and complying with all of SF demands "They decided to pay the claim" so they sent a check for $30.000 for the stolen products and computer equipment. SF then informed us another adjuster would look at the business loss part of the claim. About 2 weeks ago we get a letter from this State Farm Adjuster stating that they had figured up my business loss for the 10 months of them "Investigating this claim" and it was $342 dollars and some cents. I politely informed him that I paid Kinko's Fed X more than that just in the 1000's of document copies SF demanded I provide their investigators. Finally after explaining to him my breached lease cost of $4000 plus dollars and all the other damages they caused me he said "I will turn it over to our lawyer to see what expenses we may be liable for". I think I need a lawyer now...I feel my chosen insurance companies own actions or "lack of" has harmed my business more than the original crime.
Is this legal? How do I fight them when they have costed me everything I own?
I have documented everything and have tape recordings of SF investgators, supervisors and claims agents, plus boxes of documents sent and recieved.
Are there any good lawyers left in this country that care about American Citizens Rights? Post here if you would like more information on this case.

Insurance Protection Laws For Americans

Insurance companies have ripped off honest Americans "legally" long enough. The recent delay of a California girls insurance claim now finds our paid protectors accused of murder. You can bet the big insurance company litigators whilst be out lobbying, asking Americans to reserve judgment against them until court once again, but my Wisconsin jury vote is in...GUILTY!!! We the people must type out loud for legislation stopping the unfair acts of insurance providers, as they have proved over and over they are much to greedy to police their own corporation actions. These companies have fleeced America long enough. How many Katrina's does it take for people to get the message, Insurance laws must be changed we need Insurance Protection Laws For All Americans.
On November 8Th 2007 Washington State voters decided it is time for the insurance industry to play by the rules and they approved Referendum 67 in election. By voting yes Washington Insurance Consumers have ensured that people with legitimate claims are treated fairly by their insurance company. Insurance companies must honor the policies they sell. That’s fair and voters agreed. It is a small start to a big problem!
The problem is growing and the courts are getting more and more bogged down with litigation created solely by insurance companies for the purpose of escaping payment of an insureds claim. Most people have just had a major catastrophe happen and now the people you paid and trusted to protect you against this, refuse for no reason, in the middle of the very crisis you paid them to protect you against, to pay your claim. Fraudulent fraud investigations, bad faith, and unreasonable delays are only a few of the nasty tactics deployed by insurance companies to delay payment and wear you down so you just give up on your claim. Documented news stories of insurance customer abuse is skyrocketing nationwide thanks to the internet's keyboard warriors. Wake up people, most of us will have to deal with an insurance claim at some time in our lives, and this is not the time to find out your states insurance commissioners have sold you out to insurance companies! Contact your states insurance commissioner today and ask what your rights are if you have a claim that is disputed by your insurance company, how long can the insurance company claim they are investigating before they have to pay a claim. I know insurance fraud does exist and cost insurance companies plenty but, Insurance companies are rich and protected! Who is protecting the consumer whose house just burned to the ground, or business just got robbed and the insurance gods decide to delay or deny? Who protects the family member who just died waiting for insurance claim approval. I cannot speak for your state but in, Wisconsin we need fair insurance protection laws enacted and the Wisconsin Governor should appoint a commissioner who protects consumers rights, not ignores them. As a Wisconsin insurance consumer protection of any kind this office is a rubber stamp joke, and does nothing for individual consumers but tell you to comply with your insurance policy!!! Email your United States Governor today!

Bloggers Have Legal Rights
Its typed out loud all over the Internet "Apple Shuts Down Rumors Site" Reuters claims "Apple Case Settled" and associated press news wires are reporting it as well. If you have followed this case in its entirety, you will know this case question a bloggers right to claim journalism protection. A California court initially sided with Apple but the hi-tech firm lost the case on appeal. The outcome of that said bloggers should be considered as journalists and subject to the same protections. Bloggers now legally have Rights. This is only the start of the Freelanthropist trend, as more and more bloggers begin to pool resources, to spread a news worthy story or information across the country. More legislation pending approval at the federal government level would afford bloggers and online journalist further rights and journalistic recognitions but intends to make sure you still are not free to type anything you want about anybody. What these initial steps will do is take away the "monopolized total control" the big news networks currently have over news events and allow "real news" to be reported on in "real time" by a "real observer.

Type It Out Loud America Launches Network

Are you a Freelanthropist?
Do you post to online forums or blogs to offer human kind your humble opinion just to help or share information? Are you a free lance blogger that's published information online for the benefit of all people to possibly prevent a ripoff, scam or other tragedy? Welcome to 2008 and the age of Freelanthropy where citizens really do have a voice, they just need to type it out loud.
Has anyone ever made you feel powerless over your situation, perhaps some large company violated your rights as a U.S. citizen? Perhaps they can get away with it because of some legal loophole allowed at the local, state or federal level. Maybe your issue is with an ebay seller that ripped you off. Maybe you do not have a complaint at all but just want to get word out to human kind about someone or something that should be noticed or recognized.
Just type it out loud to be heard. The practice of fighting civil wrong doing, fraud and ripoffs with your keyboard is becoming easier and easier for the common U.S. citizen as more and more people get empowered by the Internet. Potential Purveyors of fraud and scams from all levels of society are being battled by a new age of Keyboard Warriors we call Freelanthropist.
These fed up ordinary American citizens are people like you and me that are empowering themselves with computers and keyboards worldwide.
Using the combined power of private online freelanthropist networks and utilizing online Freelanthropist publishers like blogger.com, you tube and my space is where the power lies. Many other websites will help you tap this power and propagate your typed out issue online free, so it will be available in one more spot in the public eye. Legitimacy, Honesty and Integrity plus careful smart home work, will in the end define your success as a true Freelanthropist. Getting your typing out loud to America will take due diligence and requires submitting your well defined, well categorized, complaint, story or issue into a site that specializes or invites your subject. You can report just about any type of complaint for most anything at ripoffreport.com and it will post out loud as soon as you hit enter. Another way to quickly broadcast your news and information to America are forum websites. These come in subjects that span a wide array of topics and groups. One example of a group that can help you get the word out is scam.com. These are just a few in the growing arsenal of weapons available for Internet keyboard warriors. This blog aims to teach you how to get your typing heard across America. Its purpose and intent are to link nationwide consumers to a network of Freelanthropist that are ready to help you take on crooked business to corrupt government, or just the ordinary Ebay con artist and put these people out of business. I will be publishing articles and links to other helpful information in the near future. We will be launching the Freelanthropist forums soon and will provide links here once they are set up and available.
Freelanthropist Tip:#1 Once you have posted your article online, visit forums across the Internet, post a brief statement on each but more importantly in your Signature line type a link to the title of your page. If you pick forums that are relevant to your complaint, you may gain allies who will help you promote your cause.
